Is your baby waking up to eight times every night? Is your baby waking up for their dummy or a feed? Have you contemplated going to sleep school?

Why not have Sleep Rescue come to your home for an in home sleep school?

Many programs at local private and public hospitals have a long wait list.

You may have to wait up to three months for a spot.Unfortunately, most parents discover their baby's sleep patterns became more erratic becausethe baby is getting older and more challenging. During the waiting period, parents become more sleep deprived, and this leads to anxiety and post-natal depression. Parents are waiting too long for structure in their lives. This is where our sleep school can come to the rescue!

At many sleep schools, part of the program provides parents with the opportunity to getsleep. Staff becomes heavily involved in implementing the strategies for you and having your baby sleep in the sleep school environment. How does this help you achieve your goals in your home environment? Many babies will be sleeping by the time they leave the program, but this is giving parents false hope that the sleep pattern will continue when they return home. Has sleep school given you the confidence to put these skills into practice in your home environment?

At Sleep Rescue, we can usually manage to visit you within two weeks of making the first call. At most sleep schools, staff initially commences the program for the few first nights to allow parents some rest. However, children respond to others differently comparedto their parents. At Sleep Rescue, we feel it is important for parents to implement the in home sleep schoolstrategies from the beginning of the program.

At Sleep Rescue, our in home sleep school program is focused on helping babies sleep and self-settle in their own cots or beds in their home environment. We avoid having parents place their babies in the car or the pram to get them to sleep.

Many parents that attend residential sleep schools find that the first few weeks back at home are tough because many babies go back to their old ways. It feels like starting the program again. Instead of taking a week for a positive outcome, now it can take three weeks for the same outcome. When commencing our program, we recommend parents stay home for the first 10 days of the in home sleep school for a positive outcome. Sleep Rescue will provide you with ongoing phone support from the same consultant who visited your home. The consultant will reassure you and encourage you to continue with our program.

Sleep Rescue has helped many babies sleep better in their home environment. We find the best solutions for your family. The issues that parents can be experiencing range from co-sleeping, trying to move your child into a crib or dealing with lots of nighttime wake-ups.

Our In Home Sleep School Testimonial

"My husband and I were sleep deprived and very exhausted. Our 7-month-old son Jake was waking throughout the night. We telephoned the public sleep schools and had to wait 6 weeks just for a phone interview to assess which program they would recommend. We were recommended the residential stay, which is a 4-night program. We waited a further 8 weeks before we got a position for the program. When we were in the program, Jake became unwell on the third day due to gastro spread in the program. We were very disappointed as we were sent home. When we returned home, and Jake was well enough for us to implement the strategies, we began the program at home. It was difficult to implement the strategies that were taught at the sleep school in our home environment, and we were not confident.

A friend recommended Sleep Rescue as she had great success with the program. We telephoned Gabrielle, and she was able to see us within a few days. We were amazed! We were finally getting the help we needed and in our own home! Gabrielle helped us establish a workable routine for our family. From the second day Gabrielle visited us Jake slept through every night. What I truly liked about Gabrielle was that she had a calming presence and a beautiful warm and friendly personality. We found her to be compassionate to our beliefs and concerns.

Gabrielle completely changed our lives and possibly our marriage. We are now enjoying our family without being tired, and we are now all sleeping. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs assistance with their children's sleep issues. Thank you Gabrielle for saving our sanity. Greatly appreciated."
